| Bible Study Leader/Assistant: Assist with gathering information and materials in preparation for bible study sessions. Confirmation Discussion Leader: Facilitate discussion with candidates and sometimes their sponsors. Meet on occasional Sundays after Mass or in the evening. Education/Christian Formation Committee: Members are committed to fostering quality religious education opportunities and faith formation for the parish community. |
| Confirmation Retreat Team Leader: Weekend retreat looks into the sacrament. Group leaders meet with students throughout the weekend to discuss various presentations. Volunteers are also needed to help in the kitchen and on the service team. |
| Religious Education Catechist: This position involves teaching in our religious education program anywhere from Grade 1 through Grade 11. Training and all materials are provided for our catechists as well as child care for your younger children during classes for Grades 1-6. Skills needed: -Love of children -Willingness to share your faith -Flexibility -Sense of humor Catechists for Grades 1-6: Teach either Monday or Tuesday from 4:00 pm to 5:15 pm. Twenty-four classes are held each year. Catechists for Grades 7 & 8: Teach a group of 10 to 12 students every other week on Wednesdays from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Catechists for Grades 9-11: Meet alternate Wednesdays from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Groups are mixed ages and change each session. Substitute Catechists: Volunteers are needed to fill in for catechists during times of necessary absence such as illness or schedule conflicts. Materials, lesson plans and child care (for Monday and Tuesday classes) are provided. Availability on short notice and quick study are needed. |

| Religious Education Babysitting: Care for the catechist preschool children during classes on Monday and Tuesday afternoons. Several volunteers work on a rotating schedule once or twice a month. Need to arrive 15 minutes before the beginning of classes. |
| Religious Education Secretary: Needed during class times Monday and Tuesday afternoons and Wednesday evenings. Answer phone, check attendance and help with requests from catechists.
